Active Assisted Stretching, state of the art stretching techniques, pioneered by Aaron Mattes, world-renowned Kinesiology's with over 30 years of development studies and research. Active Assisted Stretching allows systematic relief of tight muscles, tendons and connective tissue. Those isolated flexibility techniques are done in 8 to 10 repetition sets, holding the stretch for no more than 2 seconds per repetition. The patient is actively contracting opposing muscles to ensure ultimate stretch release and safety. Ideal for those who suffer with chronic pain due to sports injuries or common degenerative conditions. Active Isolated Stretching will enhance athletic performance, prevent injuries, increase range of motion and rehabilitate muscle groups.
